WHY:

I started Problem Busters to solve the problem not having a project manager to lead life changing medical device projects. I inspire medical device teams to complete the project on time and in budget. Because your family member, your friends, our neighbors across the globe or one of my family members might need a new or updated medical device brought to market in their time of need, not weeks or months too late.

HOW:

I can step in to lead your medical device project teams using a waterfall or a variation of it. Or, I can operate as a Scrum Master if using the Agile methodology is desired. WHAT:

What I do for waterfall based project I give your organization the most effective cost of hiring a project manager to lead your projects. I do this by the use of two contracts per project. The first contract for the project is time-based on my rate to plan the project (See Planning Your Project page). How long it takes to plan a project is variable due to what the project is, so a time base fee structure is best for both of us. After the project is planned and I have the team sign off the schedule that they agree they can get the work done in this time frame. I create a fixed bid contract for managing the project from the kick-off meeting until the project work is completed. This way if the completion fails to meet the completion date that I defined on my signed off schedule for the project your business will not incur additional costs because my schedule is in error from actuality. I own the error. Your firm should not have to pay for my planning error.

What I do for an Agile base project is charge simply for my time. This is because an Agile project is not planned in detail from the start to finish like a waterfall based project.
